Free Printable: The Star Tarot Layout

The Star card is one of the most cherished cards in the tarot. Drawing it raises our spirits and brings renewed hope. It is the card associated with the zodiac sign Aquarius. Among the many things that Aquarius represents are our hopes and wishes for the future.

I put together a set of journaling pages for The Star, but I wanted to share the Star Layout page with you as a freebie. It’s a good layout to use when you’re focused on your hopes and wishes. It’s also a good layout for the New Moon in Aquarius which is February 15th this year.

The Star Layout page uses five cards, one for each point of a five-pointed star. The top card represents our hopes and wishes, what we dream of. That which Rises indicates what is coming our way while That which Falls represents an energy that is leaving. The Guiding Light represents our North Star, our true path. The Unexpected indicates Uranus, the planet of surprises and sudden changes.

About the Pages

The cards used to illustrate these pages are from The Classic Tarot (also known as the Classical Tarots.) This Italian deck was published in 1835 and has remained popular since it first appeared inspiring other decks.

As Aquarius, The Star is part of the Winter Season and is of the Air element. The Fool is associated with The Star by way of the sign Aquarius. Uranus is the planet designated to represent The Fool.

Pages are included for the winter season, the air element, and The Fool/Uranus. The Air page shows the minor arcana cards associated with The Star—the 5, 6, and 7 of Swords.

The Star Clan page shows all the cards associated with The Star, including the Ace of Swords which is the genesis of the Air element and the Page of Swords, the messenger of the Ace.

The Court card representing Aquarius in these pages is the Queen of Swords. Her page also shows the constellation, Aquarius.
